but if you dont like optifine or cant use it, we have included our own. just easy rename of a file will make the trick to replace all levels that are useing this type of model you had before. Use the scrollwheel to select a different character, and press F2 again to switch. If you have cheats turned off and cant run said command, open your world to. and if you want you can replace all models with humans without modyfing script files. and yes you can have humans in Overgrowth.
